Fallas is a citywide celebration in Valencia. Each neighborhood builds massive "fallas" to be burned down at the end of this two week celebration. Fireworks, Fire, and a lot of partying! Every day for 2 weeks at 2pm, they have a "Mascleta" which I can compare to the Fourth of July in here in the States but during the day. Saying the crowds are sardine packed is an understatement. I was lucky enough to get invited to watch the mascleta from a balcony and avoid the craziness below. I even saw my first Bullfight! The art involved in bullfighting was so impressive! #wheninspain
Traveling alone has been the scariest, most liberating, and life-changing experience of my life, so I thought I would document it. My blog is named Table For 1 to inspire others to lose the fear of being alone and to get rid of any self-doubt. You deserve anything and everything you work hard for.
