My first solo trip (kinda).
I saw this post of Facebook for Hiking in Chulilla and decided to go because of the views in the pictures were amazing. I don't remember the last time I "hiked" and with this extra weight, I was discouraged but nevertheless, I went! I was able to meet new people and it was interesting to hear their story about how they ended up in Valencia. One that sticks out was this guy who was working on a short-term project for a startup company in the city he found through a website. Him and his fiance had decided to take a year off to travel and a month into it she found her dream job in China through Escape the City. FYI about Chulilla - "With more than 800 routes, Chulilla (Valencia) is one of the best rock climbing areas in Spain. Its limestone canyon shaped by the Turia river makes Chulilla a great place for sport climbing. The routes' grades range from low 6s through to the mid to high 8s making Chulilla a perfect climbing area for most climbers." - Read More About Chulilla
